Sobre el libro The gap of time de Jeanette Winterson publicado por Vintage UK en 2026:
Shakespeares The Winters Tale is reimagined in Jeanette Wintersons page-turning story of a girl banished from home as a baby. How will things turn out this time? A baby girl is abandoned, banished from London to the storm-ravaged American city of New Bohemia. Her father has been driven mad by jealousy, her mother to exile by grief. Seventeen years later, Perdita doesnt know a lot about who she is or where shes come from but shes about to find out.Jeanette Wintersons cover version of The Winters Tale vibrates with echoes of Shakespeares original and tells a story of hearts broken and hearts healed.
