Sobre John Le Carré
John le Carré va néixer el 1931. Va estudiar a les universitats de Berna i Oxford i va ensenyar a Eton. Durant la guerra freda va treballar un breu període als serveis d’Intel·ligència britànics. Els últims cinquanta anys va viure de l’escriptura. Vivia a cavall de Londres i Cornualla. Va morir el desembre del 2020.
