Global Sociology

Sobre el libro Global Sociology de Robin Cohen i Robin Kennedy publicado por Macmillan al 2000:

Offering an innovative new approach to sociology that takes the global dimensions of the contemporary world as its overarching framework, Global Sociology is written in a style that is relevant and fresh for the undergraduate reader whether they have studied sociology before or not. It offers sociological discussion of a range of topical and fascinating substantive areas, structured in a highly attractive and student-friendly way. This is a truly international text written to engage students actively in thinking about social life and is one of the most innovative introductions to sociology for many years - its thoroughgoing internationalism totally challenging the ´West and the rest´ stance of other texts.
